holiday mix 1 2 / / 1 3

Making mixed CDs is always fun for me. I get creative and doodle on the CD, and sometimes I will make an envelope to fit the CD so I can give it away as a gift. It's a thoughtful, self-made, inexpensive, fun, and a simple enough project to gift! It really gives people the notion that you took the time to make them a playlist they can listen to the rest of the holiday season!

{All you'll need for this project are some permanent markers to draw on the CD with, paper, glue & or tape, scissors, any kind of drawing utensils, glitter (if you please) and a CD of course!}

After some folding, cutting, gluing and taping I was set with a home-made, perfect fitting, and personalized CD case!

My boyfriend was telling me how his mother always pops in the old 98 Degrees Christmas album. He said he was so sick of it. I decided to bestow him with my special holiday CD mix. It's filled with classic christmas songs, as well as swinin' and easy listening ones too.
In case you're trapped in a house where the 98 Degree Christmas album has been overplayed here's what's on my holiday playlist ;) Hopefully you'll be inspired to play some of these tunes over the season!
